Salmon Evolution ASA (the “Company”, OSE: SALME) harvested 680 tonnes HOG in Q3 and reiterates the harvest guidance of approximately 2,500 tonnes HOG for the second half of 2024, taking full year harvest volume to approximately 5,000 HOG. The Company had good biomass buildup during the quarter, with steady improvement in daily growth rates and continued strong results on key parameters such as feed conversion ratio, mortality and superior grade share.
Q3 operational summary:
Harvest of 680 tonnes HOG with superior grade share of 98 %.
All-in price realization of NOK 72/kg.
Average weight of 3.3 kg (HOG), up 10 % from Q2.
Standing biomass of 2,582 tonnes LW end Q3.
"Biomass production is steadily improving at Indre Harøy, with a wide range of initiatives ongoing to take out the full growth potential”,CEO of Salmon Evolution, Trond Håkon Schaug-Pettersen said. “The standing biomass is close to record levels going into Q4, which together with a further increase in expected harvest weights, makes us well positioned to capitalize on the expected price rebound”,he said.
Fisheries and aquaculture output rose 2.63% in January-August
Vinh Long produced 659,661 tonnes of fisheries and aquaculture products in the first 8 months, up 2.63% year-on-year. August alone reached 80,429 tonnes, +2.39%. The province is also stepping up its fight against IUU fishing, with 100% of fishing vessels equipped with active VMS, while inspections and compliance controls will be reinforced.
KKP intensifies enforcement near the Philippine border to protect tuna migration and Indonesian fishers
Indonesia’s KKP removed 25 unlicensed FADs in WPPNRI 715, using patrol vessels Orca 01, Orca 05 and Hiu 13. Illegal FADs can disrupt tuna migration into Indonesian waters. In 2026, KKP has removed 37 FADs, safeguarding an estimated Rp14.8 billion. The operation also detained the 3-GT Philippine vessel Vitran 06 with four crew members for fishing without a permit.

Mackerel utilization reached 90.8% (18,502 of 20,376 t) and Nuuk-Paamiut snow crab 87.3% (481 of 551 t). The Norge-Nord haddock quota reached 533 of 533 t, while some cod records slightly exceed quotas, prompting operators to verify balances, licences and transfers.
These discrepancies require operators and buyers to confirm balances, licenses, and transfers before scheduling new catches, acquiring raw material, or committing processing capacity.
Heimaey delivers catch to Tvøroyri processing plant
Icelandic vessel Heimaey landed 330 tonnes of mackerel at Varðin Pelagic in Tvøroyri, Faroe Islands. The delivery strengthens international raw-material flows and supports local processing, freezing, storage and exports, highlighting Tvøroyri's role as a key North Atlantic pelagic hub.The unloading also confirms Tvøroyri’s role as an operational base for receiving and processing catches from foreign fleets.

She assumes the role fully aware that she has shattered yet another glass ceiling. Espino de Marotta will be tasked with developing an investment program worth over $8.5 billion. This includes the construction of a new reservoir—joining the existing two—to supply the Canal (the world's only freshwater canal), as well as a gas pipeline, two ports, and a logistics corridor.

The Faroe Islands are pressing Brussels for better access to the EU market for processed seafood, including value-added salmon products, after Prime Minister Beinir Johannesen raised the issue directly with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen this week.
The Faroese salmon industry can export most fresh, chilled and frozen fish to the EU tariff-free, but the trade agreement becomes considerably less favourable once fish is further processed. The Faroese government says only a limited range of value-added seafood products qualify for duty-free treatment, while products outside the agreed list face normal EU import tariffs.

Japan celebrates arrival of one-of-a-kind, seasonal Norwegian ‘Saba Nouveau’ mackerel
The highly anticipated delivery of premium mackerel from Norway coincides with Norway Seafood Festival in Tokyo. This year, Norwegian herring also makes an appearance for the first time.
September 11, 2026, marks the arrival in Japan of the ‘Saba Nouveau’ mackerel, flown in fresh from Norway to celebrate the first catch of the season, according to the Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC).
The Lerøy Seafood Group it is looking to raise new liquidity worth up to £60 million in a new green bond.
The company, which is part owner of Scottish Sea Farms, announced on the Oslo Stock Exchange today that it has mandated Danske Bank and DNB Carnegie as Joint Bookrunners to explore the potential issuance of new senior unsecured green bonds.
The statement added: “Subject to inter alia market conditions, NOK-denominated fixed and/or floating rate bonds with an expected tenor of six years and an expected size of NOK 750 million may follow.

This achievement reinforces the government agency's role in controlling and tracing Brazilian fisheries production, ensuring compliance with the certification required to access the US market.
The Certificate of Admissibility (COA) became mandatory in the United States on January 1, 2026, for certain imported fishery products. The documentation certifies that the cargo is not subject to import restrictions set by US legislation for marine mammal protection, guaranteeing verification of regulatory compliance and the legal origin of Brazilian fish and fishery products.
The vast majority of certificates were analyzed, issued, and sent to exporting companies in less than 24 hours. This operational agility demonstrates the MPA's capacity to maintain necessary technical rigor in data verification without causing delays in meeting productive sector demands.
