Ventisqueros presents its 2025 ESG Report with major advances in sustainability, safety and social impact

  (CHILE, 6/23/2026)

The document highlights milestones in international certifications, emissions reduction, occupational safety, circular economy, community development and employee training, consolidating the company's strategy towards an increasingly sustainable, innovative and people-centered aquaculture.

For the seventh consecutive year, Ventisqueros published its 2025 ESG Report, a document that brings together the company's main advances in environmental, social and governance matters corresponding to 2025. This new edition evidences concrete results in strategic areas for the organization, reaffirming a roadmap oriented to boost a responsible, efficient aquaculture prepared for future challenges.

"The results of this report reflect a conviction that we have built over years: sustainability is not an isolated goal, but the way we understand and develop our business. Each advance we present is the fruit of the commitment of our teams and of a long-term vision that seeks to generate value for our clients, collaborators, communities and the environment," noted José Luis Vial, CEO of Ventisqueros.

Among the most relevant milestones of the period, the consolidation of the double international certification ASC and BAP for 100% of the harvested biomass stands out for the second consecutive year, positioning Ventisqueros among the leading companies worldwide in responsible production standards. In climate matters, the company achieved a 30% reduction in its greenhouse gas emissions (scopes 1 and 2) compared to 2019, advancing towards its goal of achieving carbon neutrality in 2045.

The report also shows important advances in operational efficiency and circular economy. During 2025, the company revalidated the international ISO 50001 certification in energy management and managed to recover and valorize 99% of its operational waste through its "Zero Waste to Landfill" program, approaching the fulfillment of its zero waste goal for 2026.

In terms of safety, Ventisqueros achieved one of the best results of the last decade, registering a cumulative reduction of 84% compared to 2015. This result reflects the strengthening of a preventive culture that today forms an essential part of the company's management.

In the commercial scope, Ventisqueros positioned itself within the Top 25 of the industry in the 2025 SSIndex. The study showed that 95% of customers positively value the quality of its products, placing the company 28 points above the sector average.

Social advances also marked the period. The Ventisqueros Emprende Fund benefited 30 entrepreneurs from Hualaihué, Quemchi, Quinchao and Ayacara, generating an impact on more than 5,100 people, while the Sustainable Schools program directly supported 1,905 students and 207 teachers from 14 educational establishments, strengthening environmental projects and promoting school environmental certification.
