Surimi Seafood, an Excellent Source of Omega-3

  (UNITED STATES, 2/13/2011)

There’s no better way to keep surimi seafood cool, fresh and ready-to-serve than the new reusable tub from Louis Kemp. Each tub contains 3 pouches – individually wrapped, portable and perfect for lunches and snacks.

Louis Kemp Seafood Delights are made with premium steam-baked wild Alaska Pollock

The Louis Kemp philosophy is a simple one: offer great tasting seafood to match a healthy lifestyle, delivering low sodium and less than 90 calories and 0 grams of fat per serving. Naturally low in fat, cholesterol and calories, surimi seafood is an excellent source of high-quality protein and a good source of Omega-3.

Surimi seafood is real seafood made with Alaska Pollock and/or Pacific Whiting and flavoured with crab or lobster. It is fully cooked and there are no bones or shells to remove. Surimi seafood delivers the delicious flavour of crab and lobster in a wide variety of hot and cold recipes, while saving both time and money.

Louis Kemp Seafood Delights are made with premium steam-baked wild Alaska Pollock, which is a delicious ready-to-eat alternative to crab meat and other shellfish. Louis Kemp is the quick way to make any meal special.

The Crab Delights Garlic Herb Flake, another new addition, is blended with delicious hints of garden fresh basil, parsley, oregano, rosemary, thyme and garlic; Garlic Herb Delights offer a savoury addition to any favourite recipe.

About Louis Kemp

In 1985, recognizing the convenience and the growing demand for surimi products, Kemp Fisheries began producing surimi-based seafood products in the United States.

Louis Kemp is the quick way to make any meal special

In January 1986, the Crab Delights brand was introduced, and the company was renamed Louis Kemp Seafood Company. The introduction of Lobster Delights followed in 1990.

In 2006 the Louis Kemp brand and its state-of-the-art processing facility were acquired by Seattle-based Trident Seafoods Corporation, making Trident the largest vertically integrated seafood harvesting and processing company in North America.

Together with Trident, the Louis Kemp brand continues to strengthen its tradition of excellence using only the highest quality ingredients to create a full line of consistently superior products.

Trident Seafoods is a vertically integrated harvester, processor and marketer of seafood from Alaska, the Pacific Northwest and around the world

Carrying that spirit forward, the company remains second to none in new product development, packaging innovation, product handling and seafood safety.
