The NVG herring is caught during the period from October to January. During this period, the herring has the optimum fat content, which results in the best texture and flavour. The herring is unloaded directly at the factory in Lofoten – top quality raw materials without unnecessary transport. The NVG herring is processed in the company’s ultramodern and efficient production facilities for optimum hygiene.
