The average price of Japanese imports of frozen bigeye was JPY 832 in January, down 11% in value on that of the previous month and up 4% on that of January 2017.

Markets
During the month analysed, imports of frozen bigeye reached 3,052 tonnes, worth JPY 2,540 million, down 50% in volume and 56% in value on those registered in the previous month and down 29% in volume but up 26% in value on those of January 2017.
