In 2013 Pinsa Comercial starts commercializing Brunswick in Mexico.
Its infrastructure, self-sufficiency in all processes and the participation of their brands on the market, PINSA GROUP is ranked among the most important American in the tuna industry.
The Group consists of three companies:
PINSA is the processor and marketer of the group, it has 13 production lines, cold storage of raw material with capacity of 21.000 tons of finished product storage for 2 million cases. The fleet, plant and headquarters are based in the city of Mazatlan, Sinaloa.
Pesca Azteca is the largest fleet in the Eastern Pacific Ocean (EPO) with 20 tuna boats counting assets. Its annual harvesting capacity of 75.000 tons. Each vessel is equipped with advanced technology, helicopters and speedboats to make the process more efficient. The method used in Mexico to fish for tuna is the seine or purse seiner.
Mazindustrial is responsible for processing the product of PINSA and produce fish meal which is used primarily for manufacturing pet food for the agricultural industry.
PINSA Group generates more than 3,700 direct jobs, besides being the most important source of indirect jobs in the city of Mazatlan, Sinaloa.
