Starfish introduced Battered Gluten Free Seafood Halibut, Cod and Haddock Portions in August 2008 after nearly 3 years in development. Starfish saw the need for a high quality and tasty battered fish product that would give those suffering with Celiac Disease and other health issues caused by gluten not just an option but one with an enjoyable experience. Based on the overwhelming response from consumers around the US since its introduction we believe we have accomplished that goal.
Starfish is now developing a Gluten Free Breading with the same goals in mind and after 2 years in development we anticipate introduction of a breaded shrimp and fish to compliment our Gluten Free Battered fish offerings by late summer 2009.
