Aker Seafoods (Public - HFISK:Oslo) changed its name to Havfisk ASA in April 2013. This company is Norway's largest trawler company with 11 vessels and 29.6 cod trawling licences.
The operations of Havfisk ASA are based on fish, which is a natural resource. Havfisk is a pure fishing company with 11 trawlers. The company primarily catches cod, haddock and saithe. All fish are headed and gutted onboard and the company is able to provide fresh and frozen fish throughout the year.
Following its merger with Norway Seafoods AS, West Fish-Aarsæther AS and Nordic Sea Holding AS, Aker Seafoods ASA (now Havfisk ASA) was listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange in May 2005.
The head office of Havfisk ASA is located in Ålesund, and it also has shipping offices in Stamsund and Hammerfest.
