The volume of trade turnover of fish products between Russia and the Republic of Belarus for the period from January to September (9 months) 2023 reached 144 thousand tons, which is 19% more than last year. The total cost was US$410 million.
The volume of exports of Russian fish products to Belarus over 9 months increased by 11% - to 60.7 thousand tons with a total value of $110 million.

The leading positions (in physical terms) in the structure of exports to Belarus are occupied by:
frozen fish: 34.4 thousand tons (57% of total exports) with a total value of 46.6 million US dollars;
fish fillet: 7 thousand tons (12% of total exports) with a total value of 16.6 million US dollars;

finished or canned fish products: 6 thousand tons (11% of total exports) with a total value of 12.9 million US dollars;
fishmeal: 3.6 thousand tons (6% of total exports) with a total value of 12.9 million US dollars;
fish oil: 3.1 thousand tons (5% of total exports) with a total value of 8.1 million US dollars;
fish waste: 2.8 thousand tons (5% of total exports) with a total value of 0.6 million US dollars.

The volume of imports of fish products from the Republic of Belarus for January-September (9 months) 2023 amounted to 83.3 thousand tons with a total value of about 300 million US dollars, increasing compared to the same period in 2022 by 25% in physical terms and corresponding in monetary terms.
