The premier food and beverage trade show returns to Bangkok (May 27-31, 2025) with a spotlight on functional products, emerging markets, and global sourcing amid strong regional growth.

BANGKOK – Asia Pacific’s most influential food and beverage (F&B) trade show, THAIFEX - ANUGA ASIA 2025, is set to return to IMPACT, Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok, Thailand, from May 27 to 31, 2025. This premier event will gather key industry players, thought leaders, startup founders, and C-suite executives from across the globe to define and shape evolving trends in what we eat and how the F&B industry is progressing.

Organized collaboratively by the Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce, Thailand (DITP), the Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC), and Koelnmesse, THAIFEX - ANUGA ASIA 2025 anticipates hosting over 90,000+ trade visitors and up to 2,000+ top hosted buyers. The event will feature more than 3,100+ exhibitors from over 50+ countries and regions.

Key Highlights:

  • Extensive Participation: The event expects to welcome over 3,100+ exhibitors from more than 50+ countries and regions, alongside 2,000+ hosted buyers and 90,000+ trade visitors.
  • Expanded Global Presence: Reflecting the increasing diversification of global supply chains, THAIFEX - ANUGA ASIA 2025 will feature new participation from emerging markets in Central Asia, Africa, and Eastern Europe (including Gabon, Slovenia, Slovakia, and Uzbekistan). This expanded footprint complements the strong return of leading global players from Asia Pacific, Europe, North America, and the Middle East.
  • New Country and Regional Pavilions: Buyers can explore enhanced sourcing opportunities with the introduction of new country and regional pavilions from Australia, Hong Kong, and the Netherlands.

Spotlighting Evolving F&B Trends: Theme 'Beyond Food Experience'

Themed ‘Beyond Food Experience’, THAIFEX - ANUGA ASIA 2025 will delve into the continuous evolution of the food and beverage sector in response to shifting consumer expectations. A key focus will be the growing demand for purpose-driven F&B products that offer functional benefits. This theme will be explored through a series of special and supporting events:

  • THAIFEX – ANUGA Trend Zone: Curated by Innova Market Insights, this zone will showcase the leading global and regional trends driving innovation in the food industry.
  • THAIFEX – ANUGA tasteInnovation Show: This showcase will feature finalists and winners of innovative products, including plant-based foods and alternative proteins integrated into convenient ready-to-eat meals and snacks without compromising taste or texture.
  • THAIFEX – ANUGA Startup: A dedicated platform for 30 groundbreaking innovators and disruptors to present their solutions to potential buyers, investors, and industry leaders, offering a first look at disruptive concepts shaping the future of F&B.
  • Future Food Experience+ and the Alternative Protein Taste & Flavour Challenge: This thought-leadership platform will host over 70 leaders and experts from companies like Griffith Foods, Euromonitor International, and Tetra Pak Thailand. The live tasting challenge on May 27 will allow trade visitors to sample and vote for their favorite alternative protein products, with winners announced on May 28.
  • Thailand Ultimate Chef Challenge: Over 400 chefs from around the world will compete in more than 20 culinary categories, ranging from authentic Asian dishes to contemporary global cuisines. Their creations will be judged by 57 renowned experts from 12 countries, including prominent figures from the Worldchefs Association.

Accelerating Asia Pacific’s F&B Growth Momentum

THAIFEX – ANUGA ASIA stands at the center of the expanding Asia Pacific food and beverage market, serving as a crucial platform for innovation, sourcing, and deal-making. According to Cognitive Market Research, the Asia Pacific F&B market is projected to experience a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.8% from 2024 to 2031, driven by the diverse cultures and traditions that continuously shape the region's F&B landscape.
