Production
Spain
In October, on the wholesale market of Mercamadrid, incoming volumes of aquaculture species increased mainly in large seabream and in small and medium seabass. Those of croaker, large seabass and turbot declined.

During October, incoming volumes on Mercabarna increased in the case of seabass, and they declined in croaker, turbot and seabream.
Prices
Spain
On Mercamadrid, in October, average prices declined slightly in the case of seabass and seabream due to a rise in supplies. That of turbot increased due to the decline in supplies.

On Mercabarna, average prices increased in the case of croaker in October, compared with the previous month, due to a drop in supplies. Those of turbot and seabream declined due to the lower demand. Those of seabass also dropped due to the rise in supplies.
