This market reports focuses on harvests of seabream, seabass and turbot in the EU, especially in Spain. We also highlight harvests, prices, markets, imports and exports.

Production
Spain
In November, on the wholesale market of Mercamadrid, incoming volumes of aquaculture species increased mainly in turbot and, slightly, in small seabass. Those of the rest of species and aquaculture sizes declined, the main ones registered in medium and large seabream.

During November, incoming volumes on Mercabarna declined in all aquaculture species. The most important drops were those in seabass and seabream.
Prices
Spain
On Mercamadrid, in November, average prices declined in the case of croaker, medium and large seabream, medium and large seabass, due to a lower demand. That of small seabream rose because of lower supplies and so did that of small seabass due to a rise in supplies.

On Mercabarna, average prices increased in the case of turbot in November, compared with the previous month, due to a drop in supplies. Those of croaker, seabass and seabream declined due to the lower demand.
