Sjolaskip has been a family owned company since 1963.The company has been operating pelagic vessels out of West Africa since 1997 and its fleet consists of 7 fishing vessels (mackerel, horse mackerel, sardina, sardinella, cutlass fish, hake, dentex, pilot fish, fishmeal).
In 2007 the business was sold to Samherji Group witch continue with the fishing operation in north Africa.
