SOMAQUA is a company founded in 1996 by shrimp group SOMAPECHE. It is located on the northwest coast of Madagascar at the mouth of the river and Betsiboka student "black tiger" (cf.Penaeus monodon). Opportunities for its products (whole shrimp, peeled or decapitated) are the Asian markets (Japan, Thailand, China ...) and Europe (France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Netherlands ...).

Elle est située sur la côte nord-ouest malgache à l’embouchure du fleuve Betsiboka et élève du « black tiger » (cf.Penaeus monodon). Les débouchés pour ses produits (crevettes entières, étêtées ou décortiquées) sont les marchés asiatiques (Japon, Thaïlande, Chine...) et européens (France, Portugal, Espagne, Italie, Pays-Bas ...).
