Export of Frozen Steamed Tuna Loin Faces a Downturn at Year's End

In 2023, exports of processed tuna other than Vietnam's HS16 code, of which the majority are frozen steamed tuna loin products, will grow well over the same period. However, in the last 2 months of the year, exports of this product group tended to decline.
According to statistics from Vietnam Customs, Vietnam's exports of other processed tuna products as of December 15, 2023 reached 129 million USD, an increase of 19% over the same period. After a galloping increase of 107% in October 2023, exports of this product group decreased by 28% in November and 39% in the first half of December.
