Escurís, SA, was created in 1939 by D. Escurís Manuel Lopez. In this year reaching their first canned seafood market resulting in the launch of the first factory in Puebla del Caramiñal Escurís.

Since 2001, Escurís SA becomes managed by Rianxeira Jealsa SA, which is the in Spain No 1 and No 2 in Europe for processing volume with 77,000 tonnes and 26,500 tonnes of tuna products in the range.
