The Russian national flag was raised on the supertrawler 'Captain Martynov'

At the Admiralty Shipyards in St. Petersburg, a ceremony was held to raise the Russian national flag on the supertrawler “Captain Martynov”. The vessel was built by order of the Russian Fishery Company (RRPK) as part of the investment quota program. The trawler was named after the honored veteran of the Far Eastern fishing fleet, Captain Viktor Nikolaevich Martynov.
Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Victoria Abramchenko took part in the ceremony.
"Captain Martynov" is a large refrigerated fishing trawler of a new generation: efficient, reliable and environmentally friendly. The vessel has an increased ice class and can operate in difficult weather conditions, which increases fishing time. Among the advantages of the new trawler are increased safety and comfort of work and life for the crew.
BMRT "Captain Martynov" is the fourth vessel of the new RRPK fleet. The first three trawlers in the series are already operating in the fishery in the Sea of Okhotsk and the Bering Sea and are demonstrating high production performance.
In total, under the program of investment quotas and crab auctions (based on the results of the first stage), 105 vessels will be built in Russia for fishermen by 2027.
Today, March 1st,startedthe next stage of the application campaign for the distribution of investment quotas for the construction of ships and factories for the fishing industry. As a result of the implementation of two stages, the domestic fishing fleet will be updated by 80% in capacity and will become one of the most modern in the world.

RRPK is gradually putting into operation 11 modern supertrawlers of the ST-192 project. 10 of them are being built at the Admiralty Shipyards (St. Petersburg) as part of the state investment quota program.
The trawler of this project is designed to annually catch and process on board 60 thousand tons of fish - this is 2.5 times higher than the productivity of the previous generation of vessels. It is equipped with high-tech processing equipment and a flour mill, which allows it to produce 60-80 tons of fish fillet, 80 tons of minced surimi and 250 tons of fish feed meal daily.
