Atka mackerel (Pleurogrammus monopterygius) are distributed along the continental shelf in areas across the North Pacific Ocean and Bering Sea from Asia to North America. On the Asian side they extend from the Kuril Islands to Provideniya Bay (Rutenberg 1962).
