Jose María Fernández-Capitán presents Restalia Holding, with new additional divisions: Restalia Franchise Brands, Restalia Delivery, Restalia Retail and Franchise Management, Services and Consulting

Madrid - Grupo Restalia faces the year with a new business structure, projected to boost the growth and diversification of the company. After the launch of the new brands aimed at the younger public in 2019-20 and checking the high resistance model of the brands 100 Montaditos, Cervecería La Sureña and The Good Burger -TGB to the pandemic, José María Fernández-Capitán, founder and CEO of Grupo Restalia, today announced the new structure of the company: Restalia Holding.

This new structure, under the executive presidency of José María Fernández-Capitán, founder of the company in 2000, has 4 divisions:

  •      Restalia Franchise Brands, for the creation and management of brands
  •      Restalia Delivery, focused on delivery and new consumer formats
  •      Restalia Retail, focused on business diversification
  •      Franchise Management, Services and Consulting, as a consultant for entrepreneurs and futures
  •      franchisors

“The pandemic has put the Restalia model to the test, which has emerged stronger from all economic crises thanks to its acyclical restoration concept. Despite the good results, it is time to continue growing, innovating and creating jobs, and that is why Restalia Holding adapts to the new post-Covid-19 scenario. The new divisions will allow us to specialize and strengthen each business area, in order to offer a better service to our franchisees and clients. ”, Says José María Fernández-Capitán.

The company, which has closed 2020 with a positive balance, with 95% of its stores open, expects 93 new openings in 2021. Furthermore, internationally the company will continue its development focused on its key markets located in Europe (France , Andorra, Portugal and Italy), LATAM, and the United States, where at the end of last year it reopened its first store located in the Midtown neighborhood of Miami.

Grupo Restalia, aware of the support that its franchisees needed more than ever, was a pioneer in launching in March 2020, an aid plan for its franchisees and since then it has launched numerous support packages, both nationally and in the different autonomous communities that are being affected by the restrictions and closures. Just a few hours after the government decreed the State of Alarm, Restalia announced a package of measures that included a 100% royalty bonus during confinement, and the creation of a Restalia Support and Support Department (SAR), to provide support in matters that may concern personnel, establishment closure decreed by the authorities, rents and public aid. In addition, the company launched a second aid package at the national level in August, as restrictive measures were being applied due to the second wave of the pandemic, and in November, a third aid package, consisting of a Plan of General aid, for the premises that remained open; a Terrazas Plan, to condition and extend the exterior of the premises to the maximum; a Delivery Plan, for closed premises or with capacity restrictions; and a Reopening Plan, for those premises that had to close due to legal imperative.

Restalia Holding under the paradigm of Neorestauration

Grupo Restalia, creator of brands that revolutionized the sector -100 Montaditos, Cervecería La Sureña and The Good Burger-, already presented in 2019 a new concept of restoration for the 21st century, the Neorestaurant.

Under this concept, the Group led by its founder and sole owner, José María Fernández-Capitán, it transformed the franchise concept again. The Neorestauración, led by the Group, was born to give response to the new demands of consumers, entrepreneurs and investors, as a new way of understand the company internally, with more flexible, agile and dynamic business models and processes than today it is reinforced with the new structure of the company.

Today's consumer prioritizes their lifestyle and seeks the highest quality at reasonable prices, so Grupo Restalia will continue to bet on continuous innovation with the aim of offering its customers products pioneering and patented, of the highest quality, with formulations, but always in a smart cost format. It is about, in addition, concepts very focused on delivery, so necessary in these times, and for which the company has created a specific division.

“We believe that it is time to go one step further and work on the restoration of the 21st century with more models flexible, that respond to the new demands of consumers and also of entrepreneurs and investors reaffirming our leadership in organized catering ”concludes José María Fernández-Capitán.
