URGENT: Food Safety Control Program to export to the EU

  • Organize training classes and instructions for officials working in food safety management of local agencies to assess, inspect and monitor food safety conditions at pre-processing facilities. processing facilities (purchasing, preliminary processing, ice production facilities) that meet current regulations.   • Develop and submit to the Ministry to promulgate a Food Safety Control Program for seafood chains exported to the EU to ensure that establishments participating in the chain must fully meet EU regulations and Vietnamese regulations and be approved by competent authorities. Vietnamese authorities control and ensure food safety, EU authorities recognize them on the List of permitted exports to the EU. Completed before September 30, 2023.

  • Carry out appraisal and assessment of compliance with Vietnamese and EU regulations and standards on food safety for preliminary processing facilities providing raw materials and semi-finished products to export processing facilities and warehouses.
