Price
In September, the average price of imported fresh fillets at Customs was similar on that of the previous month and down 4% on that of September 2018. The price of frozen products was USD 3,587/kg down 7% on that of August and 8% to that of September 2018.

Markets
In September imports of fresh fillets were 1,550 tons for USD 11,270,000, 5% lower volume and value than the previous month and down 13% in volume and 17% lower value than in September 2018. In the first nine months of the year they totaled 15,522 tons and USD 114,317,000, 6% less in volume and 12% less in value than in 2018.

Imports of frozen fillets reached 10,579 tonnes, worth USD 37,950,000 CIF at Customs. These figures are 7% higherr in volume and similar in value in relation to those of last month and 2% lower volume and 9% value than those of September. During the period, totalled 78,101 tonnes and USD 306,285,000, 7% less in volume and 8% less in value than the previous year.

31,945 tons of other products (whole, H&G and eviscerated (HS 0303890040 and HS 0303230000) were also imported during the period for a CIF customs value of USD 59,846,000.
