Surimi

Prices

The average price of other surimi (HS 0304991140) at US Customs was USD 2.57/kg in June, up 51% on that of the previous month and up 6% on that of June 2018. In the semester it averaged USD 2.49/kg, 13% more than in the same period of the previous year.

Market

In the month, the exports of these surimis were 2,078 tons, for an FOB value declared in customs of USD 5,345,000, 42% less in volume and 39% in value than in June 2018.

Exports in the first six months of the year totaled 2,848 tonnes for USD 7,077,000, 56% less in volume and 50% in value than in 2018.

The 47% of these exports were sent to Spain, 1,360 tonnes, worth USD 3,590,000.
