Roberto Cirillo joined Sodexo in April 2007 as head of the Group's Strategy Plan and Innovation and, at 35, became the youngest member of the Sodexo Executive Committee. In September 2008, he also became responsible for brand and external communications.
Roberto started his career in 1998 when he entered the Zurich office of consulting firm McKinsey & Co as a Junior Associate. During the four years he spent in this first post, which focused on Europe and the United States, he acquired considerable experience in operations and in the field of Mergers & Acquisitions in various sectors. He specialized in marketing, sales and innovation for major consumer industry clients, and he spent a year working in China, then in Australia, Russia, and Turkey, where he also stayed for one year. These international posts helped him develop considerable inter-cultural skills and greater professional flexibility.
