Jeka Fish is a modern, highly advanced fish processing company, which was established in 1985.
Deltaq AS acquired the company on 22nd December 2009, together with Halldór Arnarson CEO and former owner of Jeka Fish and Sighvatur Bjarnason, former owner and President of the Board of Jeka Fish. Deltaq is a private equity fund which invests in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that typically have a need for generational change or change of ownership or a need for capital and stronger management in order to continue to grow and develop. Deltaq is listed on the Nasdaq OMX Copenhagen stock exchange.
The main product is wet salted cod fillet, but light salted IQF fillets and re-fresh fillets/loins also important.
The company has a modern production factory of approx. 7.000 m2 at Havnen in Lemvig. Jeka Fish has around 100 empoyees and has an annual production of more than 14.000 tons of of gutted white fish with head, mainly cod.
Jeka Fish specialise’s in the production of first-class fish products from line-caught, sea-frozen white fish from the Pacific as well as the North Atlantic Ocean.
