Trio's technology and focus has moved from canning and processing of small fish to adding value and quality of fresh fish fillets of white fish and salmon.
Trio FDS “freeze drum skinning†offers unique skinning of all types of fish fillets and processing from soft fish, fish with weak skin, shallow skinning, deep skinning, manual feeding and automatic feeding etc.
The new FDS 35 skinning machine has proven to be a machine where substantial savings can be achieved. A number of customers have made their own tests with a yield improvement of more than 2%.
Hangana Seafood in Namibia has tested the new industrial version of the FDS 35 skinning machine from Trio. The result has been outstanding and better than the expectations from the customer. There were no technicians from Trio at the factory during the test, and as Mr. H. van der Westhuizen, factory manager at Hangana says, "We did not treat the machine as a gift from God, but rather as if it was part of our daily lives, like all other FDS 2N machines. Therefore no additional care was taken to ensure the positive result." And he continues; "Furthermore, I can confirm that we hardly had any trouble with the machine and that it clearly is in a different league when it comes to skinning, maintenance and other operational issues experienced with the FDS 2N machines."
This test, along with the tests made at Irvin & Johnson in South Africa and Alpesca in Argentina shows that the new generation skinners from Trio are helping our customers saving money in a period with difficulties.
Example with Panga in VietNam
When catches are getting lower, it is of vital importance to save yield and money in what is being processed. Using more than 30years experience; the new Trio skinners has been redesigned to give a better yield, longer knife life, better hygiene and less maintenence.
