The Port of Tampico is extended along both river sides, with an extension of

22 kilometers starting from the breakwaters till the bridge "El Prieto"


There are 2 paralled breakwaters, measuring the one to the north 1,340 meters

and the south one 1,455 meters. Among them there is a distance of 330 meters;

in one side of the south one there is a jetty of about 165 meters long.


The depth of the navigation channel vary according to each terminal needs.
