And to three production centers in Latin America
The Nueva Pescanova Group continues with the implementation of the cost-TEM industrial monitoring and energy management system, developed by the Galician engineering company CO2 Smart Tech.
The Nueva Pescanova industrial centers in Spain (those of Chapela, Porriño, Arteixo, Catarroja and Paterna) and Namibia (Deep Ocean and Skeleton), where the cost-TEM industrial monitoring system was already implemented with successful results, are joined by now the production centers of Camanica (Nicaragua), Promarisco (Ecuador), Novaguatemala (Guatemala), as well as the aquaculture plants of the Insuiña de Mougas, Xove and Chapela group.
The implementation of the advanced cost-TEM industrial monitoring and energy management system allows the Nueva Pescanova Group companies to manage and control energy consumption, with the consequent savings in CO2 emissions and costs, as well as helping to improve processes, making them more competitive and sustainable.
Pilot project on a fishing vessel
In addition, aware that innovation is one of the hallmarks of the multinational in the fishing sector, CO2 Smart Tech and Nueva Pescanova have started a pilot project for energy monitoring and management in one of the vessels in their fleet.
This set of initiatives reaffirms the sustainable development strategy of the Nueva Pescanova group, aligned with its commitments to the 2030 Agenda and its adherence to the Spanish Network of the United Nations Global Compact against climate change.
