Dongwon Group signs MOU with National Fisheries Research and Development Institute to develop 'fisheries industry'

The Dongwon Group signed an MOU with the National Fisheries Research and Development Institute for the development of the fishery industry.

Seoul - The Dongwon Group will collaborate with the National Fisheries Research and Development Institute to develop fishery and related industries. 

On the 9th, the Dongwon Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Fisheries Research and Fisheries Academy on science and technology in the field of fishery and related industrial technologies at Dongwon Leaders Academy located in Jangho-eup, Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do. The agreement ceremony was attended by Myung-Woo Lee, CEO of Dongwon Industries, CEO of Jo Won-keun, Dongwon Systems, Shin Dong-Soo, CEO of Dongwon Home Food, and President of the National Fisheries Science and Technology Institute Choi Wan-Hyeon.

Through this agreement, Dongwon Group and the National Fisheries Research and Development Institute jointly researched and utilized BFT-based inland water aqua phonics aquaculture technology, developed custom-made household convenience food (HMR) aquatic food processing and packaging technology, and developed 4th industry-based aqua farm 4.0 technology In addition, it decided to cooperate on joint research and research results necessary for public processing and distribution. 

National Institute of Fisheries Science is a national research institute with expertise in science and technology in the field of fisheries, focusing on research activities for innovation in fisheries science and technology, and is advancing the advancement of smart farming technology utilizing the 4th industrial technology and commercialization of fisheries food. 

The Dongwon Group plans to develop aquaculture technology that will lead the future fisheries through joint research on the aquaculture with the National Institute of Fisheries Science and will expand the field of cooperation to the aquatic food development and packaging business.
