According to official data provided by the Industry Monitoring System of the Federal Agency for Fisheries (ISFRE), as of June 15, 2026, the fishing fleet of the Russian Federation recorded a consolidated catch of 2,153.6 thousand tons of aquatic bioresources. The Pacific salmon fishing season is fully active and concentrating operational focus in eastern regions.

Primorsky Krai accounts for 11.4% of the catch, Khabarovsk Krai for 4.7%, Sakhalin Oblast for 0.6%, and Chukotka Autonomous Okrug for 0.19%.

Weather conditions are very important for fishing, so if the forecast is favorable, an increase in catches is expected.

As a reminder, the overall Pacific salmon catch forecast for the entire Far East this year is over 227,000 tons. Kamchatka Krai accounts for the largest share, with approximately 117,500 tons. Khabarovsk Krai is expected to produce 55,000 tons, Sakhalin 37,000, Magadan Oblast 12,600, Primorsky Krai 3,600, and Chukotka 1,100 tons.
