The fishing group, owner of Caladero, pays about 10 million euros for assets in liquidation.
The fishing group, Mercadona's supplier, has prevailed in the bid for Isidro 1952 assets in liquidation.
On April 17, the deadline to present options for the acquisition at auction of the Meirás turbot, grouper and sea bream fish farm owned by the defunct Isidro 1952 was void.

This center has been closed for more than a year after Isidro 1952 entered bankruptcy and left its 16 employees on the street. The facility is currently in the most absolute abandonment and prey to acts of vandalism, as has been denounced by the mayor of Valdoviño, Alberto González.
One of the insolvency administrators has indicated that an offer has been submitted after the deadline that will have to be valued. If it definitely doesn't go through, the next option would be to sell the install in batches.
However, this option is not clear since, if the concession with Costas does not become effective, the space should revert to its original state prior to the concession.

The concession, as Alberto González has pointed out, "only allows one use as a fish farm", therefore, if the Administration does not modify this classification, "no other use can be given."
This same week it was also known that the rest of the assets of Isidro 1952, which include cold plants, Sushi processing plants and trout fish farms, have been acquired by the multinational of the frozen, processed and elaborated seafood products, Profand , for 10 million euros.
The Commercial Court of La Coruña made an appraisal of 8.5 million euros for the production unit and 5.4 million euros for the cold store.
