Los Mochis, Sinaloa.- Thanks to the speed with which the work has been carried out, the aquaculturists in the northern part of the state have already carried out the shrimp planting in the 12 thousand hectares programmed for this year.
Luis Campos, president of the section of aquaculturists of the municipality of Ahome, said that fortunately the works were carried out without any setback, thanks to the excellent weather conditions that have been occurring so far this year, as well as the productive effort undertaken by aquaculturists.

He said that from now on, the main work that will be developed on the farms will be to care for the species and monitor its proper development, since the productive results obtained this year will largely depend on that.
He stressed the importance that the full development of this activity always has, since with the operation of the farms, stories of jobs are provided during several months of the year that positively impact the inhabitants of the different rural communities that are settled dwarf in the vicinity of the production areas that each of these aquaculture production infrastructures encompasses.
Shrimp harvests will begin next September since the product takes between three and four months to reproduce.
