Nippon Suisan, known as Nissui, bought all of Delmar's shares from its parent company, reports The Nikkei.
Based in Chiba, Delmar supplies frozen-seafood products like fish burgers and fish sticks to restaurants, such as McDonald's. It reported JPY 8.7 billion (USD 100 million) in sales in 2009.
Nissui, a seafood company that also makes prepared and processed foods, will use Delmar's processing plants in Chiba, Thailand and elsewhere to strengthen its own commercial food business.
