At the Russian Pollock factory, which the Russian Fishery Company (RRPK) is building on the territory of the Nadezhdinskaya TOP (Primorsky Territory), equipment commissioning has begun. Commissioning of the plant is scheduled for September 1 of this year.
The ceremony marking the start of the commissioning phase was attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture - Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Fishery P.S. Savchuk, Governor of the Primorsky Territory O.N. Kozhemyako, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Russian Fishery Company Gleb Frank, heads of RRPK and Russian Pollock LLC, representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, JSC“ Far East Development Corporation”, as well as the financial partner of RRPK - Sberbank.
The Russian Pollock factory is the largest fish processing enterprise in Primorsky Krai today. Its construction is carried out using investment quota program mechanisms, which allowed RRPK and other industry enterprises to implement large-scale investment projects to upgrade the fleet and create coastal capacities.
Gleb Frank talking at the ceremony
“Large-scale construction was made possible exclusively through the adoption of an investment quota program. I am confident that investment construction is today the most effective and only possible way for our fishing industry to become a driver for the development of coastal regions and individual industries”, said Gleb Frank, Chairman of the Board of Directors of RRPK. - The Russian Pollock Plant is a small part of the large-scale investment program of the Russian Fishery Company, the total amount of which is more than 100 billion rubles, and this is about half the cost of all investments in the fishing industry of the Russian Federation. The main investments of the company are aimed at building a modern and efficient fishing fleet”.
Equipment from leading world manufacturers installed at the plant will allow producing up to 155 tons of finished products per day, mainly block and piece frozen pollock fillets, as well as minced briquettes, steaks and more. At least 20 tons of fish oil and flour per day will be produced from the main production waste.
“Already in September, the plant will begin to produce products for consumers, both abroad and in our country. First of all, for residents of the Primorsky Territory, ”said Mikhail Degtyarenko, Director General of Russian Pollock LLC . - I am sure that it will be not only qualitative in all respects, but also accessible to all segments of the population. Our task is to make pollock fillet a truly national product".
The Baader processing lines are ready to operate
“For the Russian Fishery Company, it is important to contribute to the development of the native land”, said Viktor Litvinenko, Director General of the RRPK . “The new plant is not only new capacities, it is additional tax deductions and new, high-quality jobs for residents of Primorye”.
With the commissioning of the plant already this year, 130-150 jobs will be created, and with the launch of the enterprise in two-shift work, about 350 will be created.
Over the first 10 years of operation, it is expected that over 7 billion rubles will be transferred from the enterprise to the budgets of all levels and extra-budgetary funds.
