On the morning of May 20, the Ocean Development Bureau of Wendeng District, Weihai City organized a proliferation and release activity, and 170 million Chinese prawn seeds will be released into the waters of Wulei Island Bay in Wendeng.
The shrimp seedlings released this time were provided by Weihai Shundayuan Aquatic Breeding and Breeding Co., Ltd. The shrimp seedlings were full of vitality, transparent and body length ≥10mm.
The release was checked and accepted by a third party organized by the Ocean Development Bureau of Wendeng District, Weihai City. After passing the inspection by a third-party agency, the first batch of nearly 60 million shrimp fry were slowly released into the sea. Because the growth period of Chinese prawns is catching up with the fishing moratorium in the off-season, it is expected that after the fishing moratorium ends this year, these released Chinese prawns will "swim" to the dining table of our citizens. This release work took a total of 3 days and ended on May 22.
