PLATEMATIC are the best option for bulk products in large blocks and trays, as used for further processing especially in the fish and meat industries. PLATEMATIC features an exclusive built-in system for product load and discharge, which makes these operations faster and easier, thereby allowing high production rates and reducing labor requirement. In short, product to be frozen travels on a conveyor belt to the front part of the freezer. The packages are monitored by specific sensors and, once making up a complete row, this is pushed forward onto a freezing plate. When this plate is full, it is raised to make room for a new empty plate, and so on, until all the plates have been filled. At this point the plates are lowered and return to the initial position to continue the cycle. Therefore the freezer operates on a first-in first-out principle: as one row of fresh product is loaded onto the freezer, another row of frozen packages is unloaded off the opposite side. Different models of PLATEMATIC are available with various plate sizes and an in-line capacity ranging from 400 to 7.000 kg/h. Compact freezers, up to about 1.500 kg/h, are factory-assembled and therefore ready for connection and start-up, while larger machines have to be mounted on site. SamiTech S.r.l.
