Pescanova changes its logo for the first time in six decades

The fishing company Pescanova has changed its image for the first time in its almost 60 years of history, with the renewal of its current logo.
The new logo retains the red colour and capital letters, to maintain the essence of the previous one and take advantage of the positioning that already had Pescanova in the memory of the consumers, explained the company in a statement.
"The new logo is inspired by the freshness of the marine environments and the dynamism that the flags transmit when they fly in the wind," the note stresses.
What is intended is to reflect at a glance the company's "new DNA", which seeks to bring the freshness of the sea to the consumer table with the same quality as always, and connect with the most loyal buyers and also with a younger audience.
"The time has come to change, to take a step towards the future, to renew ourselves to adapt to the new market trends and convey a more dynamic aesthetic, without losing our essence," said the CEO of the Nueva Pescanova Group, Ignacio Gonzalez .
"With this new image we want to continue to remember that we are innovative from day one and that we feel respectful for what the sea gives us. Undoubtedly, with this change we rejuvenate not only our most visible face, but also our desire, passion and strength," he added.
The new logo will be introduced progressively in the coming months in the new packaging of all its products worldwide.
Pescanova currently sells in a total of 80 countries on five continents.
