With a background spanning three decades among commercial fisheries, Shawn Stebbins, B.Sc., has devoted 25 years to improving resource sustainability through effective fisheries monitoring and management. Since helping to develop British Columbia’s world-class groundfish fisheries monitoring program, Shawn has worked closely with Fisheries and Oceans Canada, the International Pacific Halibut Commission, the Environmental Defense Fund, and a varied portfolio of commercial fisheries, regulators, and NGOs to develop and support sustainable seafood initiatives around the world.
