Introduction of DAT-SCHAUB Spain

DAT-SCHAUB Spain was founded in 1986, and belongs to the Danish multinational company of the same name, created more than a hundred years ago.

Nowadays we are the first worldwide meat trader with four factories distributed in different countries; our incomes exceed 900 million US dollars, and more than 1700 people work for us in the business of freezed meat and fish.

Our office in Spain is mainly dedicated to frozen fish coming from the following countries, where is backed by the main firms of that sector: Argentina, Namibia, Peru, Chile, Nueva Zelanda and China.

In 1998 the trading volume of meat and fish was 20'000 tons, distributed in Spain, the European Union and Eastern Europe.

1998 was also the year of confirmation of DAT-SCHAUB SPAIN as one of the leader traders of Squid Tubes with an approximate volume of 8'000 tons.
